Witness is an abstract exploration of memory, pressure, and survival. 

A broad, layered painting in deep blues, greens and violets, interrupted by areas of orange, yellow and fractured light. A human-like presence occupies the upper centre-left while circular forms, fissures and darker masses move around it. Marble dust adds breaks and resistance to parts of the surface. 

The painting developed alongside the poem Rocky Road, although the two works remain independent: The presence, fractured light, and a dark recurring form create a space where endurance and unease sit side by side, inviting the viewer to consider what is carried, what is witnessed, and what remains.
