The quietest painting in the series. Much of the canvas is pale and deliberately low in contrast, with only slight shifts of grey, green and cream. A small dark form sits low in the landscape while a larger structure is barely visible in the upper distance. Heavier white paint interrupts the edges. It was made to be easy to overlook, placing absence and limited visual information at the beginning of the series.
