A pale, faceless figure occupies the centre of a tall canvas. Around it, pink, orange and red marks accumulate in small fragments, particularly to the left, while darker broken forms gather at the lower edge. Some areas are crowded and layered; others are deliberately spare. 

The painting grew alongside thoughts about judgement, context and how quickly a person can become pressured and defined by others, labels and fragments of information.
