A heavily worked seascape that moves towards abstraction. Deep blues dominate the sky and water, while yellow, orange, white and red marks break through the lower half of the painting. 

Brushwork is fast and directional, giving the surface a sense of continual movement. A small red form sits alone towards the horizon. 

The work envisages experience of mental distress rather than from a particular physical coastline.
