A commissioned landscape developed from memories of time spent on the Isle of Iona. Water, beaches, small buildings and distant hills remain recognisable, but they are loosely handled rather than mapped precisely. Strong blues in the sea and sky are balanced by pale sand and darker land. 

The commission was rooted in a particular period of retreat, reflection and recovery, bringing remembered place and personal time, healing and future possibility into focus.
