Painted from the western edge of Cornwall, Moho Sunset sets a broad Atlantic horizon beneath layers of orange, blue and grey evening sky. Dark rocks break the foreground while repeated horizontal marks carry movement through the water. 

The title also refers to the Moho, the geological boundary deep beneath the Earth’s crust, placing the familiar experience of watching a sunset against a much larger physical timescale.
